Title
Comparison of two-dimensional multitemporal Sentinel-2 data with three-dimensional remote sensing data sources for forest inventory parameter estimation over a boreal forest.
Abstract
•We compared four remote sensing technologies in forest inventories.•Sentinel-2 based features were compared to selection of 3D features.•Multi-date S-2 features only slightly improved results compared to single-date S-2.•S-2 features performed as well as TerraSAR-X stereo features.•Based on the results, multitemporal S-2 data are good for monitoring wide-area.
