An Innovative Mobile Terminal Positioning Technique Based on UAV-Femtocell Systems
Abstract
This paper proposes an innovative technique for identifying any missing persons in natural disaster scenarios using an algorithm that exploits the femtocell sensor's ability to univocally hook a mobile terminal and that of a UAV system to easily approach to the monitoring area. The algorithm locates any mobile terminals with an accuracy of about 2 m.
